This is a small Dong village in the southeastern corner of Guizhou, south of Kaili. The closest town, that shows up on a map, is Rongjiang. We were fortunate enough to come upon the village during their faux-festival to thank either a local official or someone who had donated money for village renovations, needless to say were lucky. We stayed at the local guesthouse, which we were unclear about it actually being a guesthouse, for a few days and enjoyed some local wine and food cooked by the woman of the house.
